Okanagan/Shuswap From Space shows the southern interior of British Columbia from Penticton in the south to north of Revelstoke. The Okanagan Lake, home of the mythical lake monster "Ogopogo", stretches from Penticton at the southern end to Vernon at the northern end. Kelowna, the largest city in the Okanagan valley, is situated roughly mid-way up the lake and at the terminus of the Coquihalla Connector (Highway 97). Our Okanagan/Shuswap poster shows the picturesque countryside of the interior: desert-like conditions south of Pentiction to snow-capped Selkirk moutains to the north which attract heli-skiers during the winter. |
